AIP Supplement for REPUBLIC OF LATVIA

According to the Council Regulation (EU) 2021/907, entry into the airspace of Latvia, landing and take-off at the airports of Latvia is prohibited for any aircraft operated by Belarusian air carrier, including as a marketing carrier. This restriction does not apply to emergency landing, emergency overflight, landing and take-off or overflight for SAR purposes.

Latvian air carriers and captains of aircraft in charge of air service managed by carriers holders of operating licence issued by Latvia, whether they are contractual carriers and/or de facto carriers, or performing air service with commercial charter agreement or with code sharing, and to all flights performed with Latvian aircraft registration, are requested to avoid Minsk FIR (UMMV).

Foreign air carriers inbound EU are recommended to avoid Minsk FIR (UMMV).
