1. Introduction

1.1 The Aeronautical Information Service of the Republic of Latvia issues the Aeronautical Chart of Latvia - ICAO 1 : 500 000 in both digital and paper formats.

1.2 The 13th edition of the Aeronautical Chart of Latvia - ICAO 1 : 500 000 is effective from 21 MAR 2024.

1.3 The Aeronautical Chart of Latvia - ICAO 1 : 500 000 does not form part of the AIP and is not distributed as an amendment to the AIP.

1.4 Any questions concerning the information related to new editions and/or the content of the chart should be referred to the Aeronautical Information Service of the Republic of Latvia:

2. Sales arrangement

2.1 The sale of the Aeronautical Chart of Latvia - ICAO 1 : 500 000 in paper format is delegated to “Karšu veikals Jāņa sēta” Ltd.

2.2 The chart can be purchased directly from „Karšu veikals Jāņa sēta” Ltd. or on the website https://www.karsuveikals.lv.

3. Digital chart

3.1 The Digital Aeronautical Chart of Latvia - ICAO 1 : 500 000 is available on the website of the AIS of Latvia: https://ais.lgs.lv/page/VFR_Suport

3.2 The Digital Aeronautical Chart of Latvia - ICAO 1 : 500 000 incorporates all the changes published in the section GEN 3.2.8 "CORRECTIONS TO CHARTS NOT CONTAINED IN THE AIP" of the Latvian AIP.

An updated version of the chart is made available at least 28 days in advance of the effective date.
