EVAD AD 2.20  LOCAL AERODROME REGULATIONS

NIL.

1. PARKING PROCEDURES

The airfield operator provides loops for aircraft parked outside that can be secured to the ground to fix the aircraft using tensioning ties.

2. USE OF RUNWAY LIGHTS

RWY edge, threshold, and RWY end lights, APAPI lights, and WDI lighting can be switched on by the pilot.

Pilot-controlled lights (PCL) can be turned on by the pilot on CH 127.130 as follows:

  1. Three (3) clicks on CH 127.130 turn on the RWY edge, threshold, RWY end, APAPI lights at 10% intensity and WDI lighting at 100% intensity;
  2. Five (5) clicks on CH 127.130 turn on the RWY edge, threshold, RWY end, APAPI lights at 30% intensity and WDI lighting at 100% intensity;
  3. Seven (7) clicks on CH 127.130 turn on the RWY edge, threshold, RWY end, APAPI lights at 100% intensity and WDI lighting at 100% intensity.

The lights will be on at the selected intensity for up to 20 minutes before turning off.

The pilot of the arriving aircraft must not switch on the light earlier than at the border of the Adazi ATZ.

There are no restrictions on the pilot of the departing aircraft switching on the lights.

Before switching on the lights at 100% intensity, the pilot must report this on CH 127.130 to prevent blinding the pilot of another aircraft using the runway.

EVAD AD 2.22  FLIGHT PROCEDURES

Only VFR flights are allowed to and from the Adazi aerodrome. Intended manoeuvres in the ADAZI ATZ must be reported on CH 127.130.

EVAD AD 2.23  ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

AIR NAVIGATION WARNING

Pilots must avoid penetrating EVTRA5 ADAZI (see ENR 5.5), established NE of the Adazi aerodrome for aerobatic flight training, when it is activated by NOTAM.
